Ziff Davis is a New York digital media and internet group whose Martech arm, the Moz Group, sells SEO, email, voice and text tools to smaller businesses.
Ziff Davis is a publicly traded digital media and internet company in New York that runs more than 40 brands across technology, shopping, lifestyle, gaming, health, cybersecurity and marketing technology. Most of those names are publishing brands: CNET, PCMag, ZDNet, IGN and Mashable. For a software buyer the Martech segment is the one that matters, which the company itself calls the Moz Group and describes as a provider of marketing technology to small and medium-sized enterprises across search, email, voice and text. That portfolio was bought rather than built, through a long run of acquisitions since 2013. Its Martech brands each arrived that way: Campaigner and iContact for email marketing, SMTP.com and Kickbox for sending and list verification, eVoice and Line2 for business phone numbers, FullContact and Semantic Labs for identity data. They share an owner rather than an account, so buying one gets a single product with its own pricing and its own support desk, not a suite. Three of the group's SEO products are listed here: Moz Pro, Moz Local and STAT Search Analytics. All three came with the Moz acquisition, which Ziff Davis completed on 4 June 2021 and still tags under marketing technology on its own acquisitions page. Each product's plan cards list its tiers.
