Developer Tool Companies 5 products Stockholm, Sweden Founded 2008

Sinch is a Stockholm cloud communications company behind messaging and email APIs, and the owner of Mailgun, Mailjet, SimpleTexting, ClickSend and Sinch Engage.

Sinch builds cloud communications infrastructure that lets other companies send messages, make calls and send email from inside their own apps. Its APIs and applications cover SMS, voice, video, in-app chat and email, with the delivery, routing, compliance and fraud prevention that high-volume sending needs already built in. Sinch AB (publ) was founded in 2008, is headquartered in Stockholm and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm. Sinch grew its email business through the Pathwire acquisition, completed on 7 December 2021, and now carries Mailgun, a transactional email API and SMTP service with add-on deliverability monitoring and pre-send QA, and Mailjet, an email marketing and transactional email platform, while Email on Acid ships as Mailgun's Inspect module. Its SMS portfolio includes SimpleTexting, an SMS marketing platform for small businesses acquired in 2021, ClickSend, a pay-as-you-go SMS and MMS API and web app that joined the group in 2022, and Sinch Engage, the business SMS platform formerly sold as MessageMedia, an acquisition Sinch closed on 5 November 2021. Sinch serves customers directly and through its own network of channel partners, competing with other CPaaS vendors on reach, uptime and per-message pricing rather than on a single flagship app. Each Sinch-owned product keeps its own pricing and feature set, and each product's plan cards list its tiers.
