Mailjet is email marketing and a transactional email API on one platform from Sinch, with a drag-and-drop editor, SMTP and REST sending and EU-hosted data.

Mailjet is an email platform for both marketing campaigns and transactional sending, built around one login, one pricing page and one API for two jobs that most email tools split apart. Sinch has owned Mailjet since 7 December 2021, when its acquisition of Pathwire closed and folded in Mailjet alongside Mailgun and Email on Acid under the Sinch Email umbrella. The marketing side is a drag-and-drop email editor with an HTML block for hand-coded or MJML markup, a subscription form builder with single or double opt-in, a library of more than 100 templates, AI-assisted email copy and a real-time collaboration view where teammates comment on a draft beside the live preview. Automation workflows, built from subscription, contact-property and behavioral triggers, arrive on the Premium tier. The sending side is a REST Send API and an SMTP relay, with delivery, open, click and bounce events pushed to an endpoint through real-time webhooks, a sandbox mode that validates a call without delivering mail, and official client libraries for PHP, Ruby, Node.js, Python, Java, Go and C#. Subaccounts keep marketing and transactional traffic on separate sending reputations, a dedicated IP is available on request on the higher tiers, inbox preview and pre-send spam checks catch problems before a send, bounce and suppression list management keeps the list clean, and data is hosted in EU data centers on every plan. Mailjet suits teams that want campaigns and transactional sending under one login, engineering teams sending through SMTP or a REST API, agencies running multiple clients through subaccounts, and EU-based or EU-compliance-sensitive senders. It is sold on a permanent Free tier, a flat Starter plan, and the Essential and Premium tiers, which scale with an email-volume slider and are billed monthly or annually, with a Custom quote above the self-serve ceiling and a dedicated IP and Expert Deliverability Services on request. The plan cards list every tier. In daily use Mailjet sends the marketing newsletter and campaign, the transactional email from an app or service, the SMTP or API traffic from an engineering team, and several clients' mail kept separate through subaccounts, and it grows the list with signup forms and popups. It sits beside the application that sends through it and the CRM that holds the contacts rather than replacing them.
