Microsoft is the software company behind Windows, Office, Azure and Microsoft Clarity, selling to consumers, businesses, developers and governments worldwide.
Microsoft Corporation is an American technology company that builds operating systems, productivity and business software, cloud infrastructure, developer tools and consumer devices. It was founded in 1975 and is headquartered at One Microsoft Way in Redmond, Washington. Satya Nadella is chairman and chief executive officer. The product lines run from Windows and the Microsoft 365 applications to the Azure cloud platform, the Dynamics 365 business applications, GitHub and Visual Studio for developers, the Xbox games business, LinkedIn, and the Copilot assistants Microsoft now builds into most of them. The company sells to consumers, small businesses, enterprises, schools and governments, through its own online stores, through volume licensing, and through a partner and reseller network. Microsoft also publishes tools that feed the wider ecosystem rather than carrying a price of their own. Microsoft Clarity, the user behavior analytics product at clarity.microsoft.com, is one of those: it is open to any site or app owner, its capture library is published on Microsoft's GitHub organisation, and its terms of use are an agreement with Microsoft Corporation. Microsoft publishes no single company-wide support address; each product routes support through its own channel, and Clarity's is clarityms@microsoft.com.
