team.blue is a Belgian group of web hosting, domain and digital tool brands, formed in 2019 from the merger of Combell Group, founded in 1999, Register Group, founded in 1995, and TransIP Group, founded in 2003. It is headquartered in Ghent, Belgium, and today owns a portfolio of brands across hosting, domains and marketing tools rather than trading under one shared product name. Metricool, the social media management and analytics platform, joined the team.blue group in September 2024, per team.blue's own announcement. Metricool continues to run under its own name, site and pricing, from its own legal entity in Madrid. iubenda, the consent management and privacy policy platform run from Milan, has been part of team.blue since 2022, and also keeps its own name, site and pricing. Complianz, the WordPress and Shopify consent management plugin built in Groningen, joined team.blue in December 2023, when the group announced its acquisition of Really Simple SSL and Complianz, and it too keeps its own name, site and pricing. team.blue's other brands include hosting and domain services such as Combell, TransIP, Register.it, Loopia and Names.co.uk. team.blue serves the small businesses, agencies and web professionals that buy hosting, domains and marketing tools from its brands across Europe. Each brand prices and supports what it sells on its own terms.
