Eventbrite

Eventbrite is event ticketing and marketing for organizers: event pages, email campaigns, reserved seating and a check-in app on a public marketplace.
Eventbrite is the self-service ticketing and marketing product behind the Eventbrite marketplace, built for organizers who sell to the public and want an audience they did not have to build. Every event created in it is listed on the consumer marketplace, and that discovery is why many organizers choose it over a standalone registration tool. Eventbrite has been owned by Bending Spoons, the Milan company that runs Vimeo, Evernote and Meetup, since the acquisition closed on 10 March 2026. The event page builder works from templates with Canva built in for the artwork. Ticketing covers free and paid ticket types, promo codes and hidden tickets, group and early-bird tickets, waitlists with manual release, reserved seating from a chart designer, timed-entry slots and custom order questions with conditional follow-ups. Marketing covers email campaigns to past attendees with segments by attendance and purchase history, automated reminders and confirmations, tracking links and pixels, AI event creation and ad copy, and Eventbrite Ads, a paid placement product run on a daily budget. At the door, the Organizer app scans QR tickets, checks people in and takes Tap to Pay sales, and automatic post-event star ratings collect feedback afterwards. Payouts follow the event, with an Instant Payout option. Eventbrite suits concert, festival and nightlife promoters, community groups and nonprofits running public events, food, drink and class organizers selling tickets, and venues that need reserved seating. Small teams that only host free events use it at no cost. There is no monthly fee for the base tier: free events cost nothing, paid tickets carry a per-ticket service fee and a payment processing fee passed to the buyer by default, and Eventbrite Premium is a monthly subscription that adds promotion in Eventbrite's own ad campaigns, more email volume and live chat support. Large events go through Sales Partnerships, and the plan cards list every tier. In daily use Eventbrite sells the tickets, registers attendees for a free event, promotes it to the marketplace audience, emails past attendees about the next one, scans tickets from a phone at the door and assigns seats from a venue map. It connects to Salesforce, HubSpot and Mailchimp through apps, to Zapier and Workato for automations, and to Zoom, YouTube and Facebook Live for virtual events, with a REST API and an app marketplace for the rest. It sits beside a CRM and an email tool rather than replacing them.
