Choose AppsFlyer when the job is proving which ad network, campaign and creative produced a mobile install or purchase, especially across several networks at once and under iOS's SKAdNetwork limits. Choose Dreamdata when the job is crediting closed-won CRM revenue to the marketing that touched the account, across a B2B sales cycle running months and involving several people before anyone signs.
Incrementality testing is the one feature the table on this page shows only for AppsFlyer. It includes geo and holdout experiments that separate a channel's real lift from noise before a team renews it, alongside cost import and fraud screening. Reviewers writing between 2020 and early 2026 and concentrated in mid-2024 call the dashboards easy to read and credit Protect360 for catching bad installs before payment. The same reviewers describe real costs: fraud protection, data locker and the conversions package bill as separate add-ons, and raw exports are capped at a matter of months. Several report figures that do not match a connected ad platform's own numbers.
Account-level attribution is Dreamdata's starting point: contacts roll up into one company journey, so a deal touched by several stakeholders is credited as a single buying process rather than separate leads. CRM revenue matching, offline conversion sync back to ad platforms and a choice of multi-touch, data-driven or custom models build on that, none of them listed for AppsFlyer. User reviews from 2020 to 2025 say the customer-journey view makes B2B channel performance legible, and call onboarding and support strong. Getting there takes work: the same reviewers put the learning curve at one to two months and describe a setup needing real data cleanup first. They also find some dashboards dense for anyone outside marketing analytics.
Reviewers of both products praise how each connects to their stack: AppsFlyer's ad networks, Dreamdata's CRM and marketing tools.
Dreamdata's own site describes Finastra, a financial services software company it names as having more than 10,000 employees, using the platform to trace deals spanning 13 stakeholders across 15 channels. Finastra then feeds that pipeline data back to LinkedIn, Google and Microsoft Ads bidding. AppsFlyer's own site names Sweetgreen, a food and drink company, as a customer that unified web and app attribution on the platform. It made the move after finding web-driven app purchases undercounted, and the vendor reports marketing ROI up 17%. Neither vendor documents a way to move data between the two: Dreamdata's own integrations page lists CRM, ad platform and intent-data connectors but names no mobile attribution or MMP partner, AppsFlyer included.
