Positive Group is a French SaaS publisher whose marketing brands include Surfer, Iconosquare, User and Signitic, all built and hosted in Europe.

Positive Group is a French software publisher that has spent a quarter of a century buying and building marketing tools for European businesses. It started in 2001 as Sarbacane, an email tool for French small companies, and now sells a set of brands under one group name: Positive Surfer for AI and SEO content, Positive User for customer engagement, Positive Signitic for email signatures and Positive Iconosquare for social media, alongside noCRM and rapidmail. Its own pages count more than 100,000 customers, 400 employees and 13 countries. Where the software runs is the group's pitch. It markets itself as made and hosted entirely in Europe, holds ISO 27001 certification and sits on the French Tech 120 list of scaleups, which matters most to teams with data residency rules to satisfy. It remains independent after 25 years, files as SAS Groupe Positive from Hem in northern France, and lets each brand keep its own site, plans and support desk rather than selling a bundle. Surfer joined the group on 28 October 2025, according to Positive's own news page. Surfer's founders stayed on as shareholders and the announcement said day-to-day operations would carry on unchanged. Each brand is priced and sold on its own, with no combined plan across the group, so a team buying Surfer buys one product with its own plans, backed by a French owner rather than folded into a bundle.
