Optable is a data clean room and audience platform for publishers and advertisers, joining identity, segments and direct deals. Sold by quote after a demo.
Optable lets media sellers and marketers turn first-party signals into audiences they can sell, buy and activate without handing raw records to each other. It is built by Optable Technologies Inc., an independent company in Montreal whose founders came from AdGear. The platform does not present itself as a pure DMP, CDP or clean room; it connects the work of all three on one signal foundation. Its purpose is to keep campaigns addressable as cookies and device IDs fragment. Optable Identity resolves visitors across channels and properties into a flexible identity spine, linking device IDs, hashed emails, phone numbers and cookies. Its ID Switchboard connects that spine to alternative ID providers. SDKs for websites and mobile apps collect signals in real time, and CRM records arrive by batch upload. Optable Audience brings segmentation, third-party enrichment, contextual signals, measurement and clean rooms into one place. Clean room partners keep their data in BigQuery, AWS or Snowflake, and invited partners can run Optable Flash Nodes. The Agentic Marketplace turns publisher audiences and inventory into a storefront that buyer agents can find and transact on, while Audience Agent drafts audience plans from an advertiser's brief. Publishers and media owners use Optable to package first-party audiences for programmatic and direct sales, and their sales teams use it to answer RFPs faster. Advertisers and agencies use it to match customer data with publisher partners in a clean room and to model lookalikes of their best customers. It is built for ad operations, data and sales teams at media companies, agencies and brands. Each part can be started on its own and extended later without rebuilding the setup. Every account begins with a demo, and pricing is quoted by Optable's sales team. For a publisher, the work starts with resolving logged-out traffic into addressable IDs, then building segments by trait, event, recency and frequency. Those segments flow to buyers through The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP or DV360, through Google Ad Manager, or into a deal packaged for one advertiser. TCF and GPP consent strings are read as each signal arrives, and deletion requests run through an API. When an advertiser wants to compare audiences, both sides meet in a clean room, read the overlap and plan a campaign around the reach they share.
