MailerSend is a transactional email API and SMTP relay with inbound routing, webhooks, templates and SMS and WhatsApp add-ons, EU-hosted, with a free plan.

MailerSend is MailerLite's transactional email service, for developers and ecommerce teams that want an EU-hosted email API with inbound parsing and a free tier to start on. It has been part of Vercom S.A., the listed Polish cloud communications group, together with MailerLite and MailerCheck since the merger was finalized on 21 June 2022. The email API ships with seven official SDKs, an SMTP relay, a bulk email endpoint for asynchronous batches and inbound email routing that parses received mail and posts it to a webhook. Delivery, bounce, open, click and complaint events arrive by webhook, and activity and API logs keep the history. Templates come from a drag and drop, rich text or HTML builder and render server-side with personalization data at send time, sends can be scheduled up to 72 hours ahead, and email split testing compares up to five versions. Suppression list management and hard and soft bounce classification keep the list clean, DMARC monitoring and blocklist monitoring watch the domain, and a dedicated IP is available as an add-on for high-volume senders. Paid add-ons bring an SMS API for the US and Canada, a WhatsApp messaging API and email verification credits, user roles and client sub-accounts serve agencies, and hosting in a Google Cloud data centre in Belgium makes every account EU-resident by default. MailerSend suits developers wiring up password resets and receipts, ecommerce stores sending order and shipping emails, agencies on the Professional tier sending for many client domains, side projects on the Hobby plan and teams already on MailerLite. It is sold on a permanent Free plan with a small monthly allowance, a Hobby plan, and the Starter and Professional tiers, which scale with an email-volume slider and are billed yearly or monthly with overage above the included volume, with Enterprise quoted at the largest volumes and a trial of the Professional features. The plan cards list every tier. In daily use MailerSend sends password resets, one-time codes and confirmations, order and shipping notifications and batch transactional sends through one API call, parses inbound mail into support tickets, sends appointment reminders by SMS and monitors DMARC and blocklists for a sending domain. Broadcast and newsletter sending live in MailerLite, so it sits beside that product and the application that calls it rather than replacing either.
