Superhuman

Superhuman is the AI productivity company behind Grammarly, Coda and Superhuman Mail. It was founded in 2009 as Grammarly and is based in San Francisco.

Superhuman builds AI tools for the everyday work of writing, planning and communicating. The company was founded in 2009 as Grammarly, Inc., and it renamed itself Superhuman Platform Inc. after acquiring Coda and Superhuman Mail. Grammarly, the writing assistant it has published since the start, carries on under its own name. The line covers several kinds of desk work. Grammarly is the writing assistant, correcting, rewriting and adjusting the tone of text wherever it is typed. Coda is the collaborative workspace, where documents and the teams working in them sit together. Superhuman Mail is the email client, with Superhuman Calendar and Superhuman Docs beside it. It runs on a Gmail or Outlook account, adds a split inbox, keyboard commands and AI drafting, and is sold per member on its own plans page at superhuman.com/mail. Superhuman Go is the AI agent the company is building across the set. Each product keeps its own name, its own site and its own signup, so one can be bought without the others. Grammarly is sold at grammarly.com on its own plans page, separate from the rest of the Superhuman products, and it is still how most people meet the company. Superhuman sells to individuals who write all day, to teams that want one consistent voice across their writing, and to organisations that need single sign-on, provisioning and audit logs. The company is based in San Francisco.
