ZeroBounce
by ZeroBounce • • Email Deliverability Tools
ZeroBounce is a credit-based email validation and deliverability suite: bulk and API list cleaning, inbox placement tests, blacklist and DMARC monitoring.
ZeroBounce checks email addresses and watches how mail from a domain is landing, without ever sending a campaign itself. It sits beside an existing email platform: a list is uploaded or the API is called, each address comes back with a verdict, and the survivors go back into the tool that sends. It is made by Hertza LLC, trading as ZeroBounce, a Santa Barbara, California company that started in 2013. Bulk list validation and the real-time validation API return each address as valid, invalid, catch-all, spam trap, abuse, disposable, role-based or unknown, with catch-all domain, spam trap, disposable address, role account and toxic domain detection, typo correction and duplicate removal behind the verdict. AI email scoring rates the addresses that validation leaves as catch-all or unknown, email activity data shows which addresses are engaged, an email finder returns an address from a name and a company, and a web form validation widget checks signups as they arrive. A second set of tools covers deliverability: inbox placement testing seeds a message to mailboxes at more than 20 providers and scores the content with a spam analyzer, blacklist monitoring watches a domain or an IP against some 200 lists, DMARC report monitoring collects aggregate and forensic reports, automated mailbox warmup builds engagement for a new sender, an email server test audits headers and configuration, and the deliverability dashboard charts spam rate, authentication success and delivery errors from a connected Google Postmaster Tools account. ESP and CRM integrations push clean lists to Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, Salesforce and others. ZeroBounce suits marketing teams cleaning a list before a send, sales and business development teams sourcing addresses, agencies watching several client domains, developers wiring validation into a signup form and teams warming a new sending domain. It is sold on three tracks: a permanent Freemium tier with a monthly credit allowance and a token set of tests and monitors, pay-as-you-go credit packs whose per-credit rate falls with volume, and the ZeroBounce ONE subscription, billed monthly or annually, which bundles warmup, DMARC monitoring, placement tests and blacklist monitors with its credits. Larger allotments are quoted as custom plans, and the plan cards list every tier. In daily use ZeroBounce cleans a purchased or aged list before a campaign, validates addresses at signup through the API, scores catch-all addresses, finds an address from a name and a company domain, warms a new domain before the first big send, tests inbox versus spam placement at the major providers and alerts when a domain or IP is blacklisted. It sits beside the email platform that sends the mail rather than replacing it.
