Writer is an enterprise AI content and agent platform that runs on its own Palmyra models, built for large teams; plans are quoted by sales, not published.

Writer is an enterprise AI content and agent platform. It gives a large organisation one place to draft content, run multi-step workflows and act on company data. Brand and compliance standards are applied to every output. The product comes from Writer, Inc., an independent company founded in 2020 and based in San Francisco. It runs on Palmyra, the model family Writer trains itself, rather than on a third party's models. WRITER Agent is the working interface, handling chat, research and multi-step execution in one place. Playbooks turn a repeatable process into an agent a team can run on demand. The Agent Library ships prebuilt ones for jobs such as SEO content refresh and translation. Connectors link it to Salesforce, Slack, Google Drive, SharePoint, Webflow, WordPress and Contentful. Agents read those live systems and push finished copy back into a CMS. AI Studio is where teams build their own agents and tools, with Agent Builder, code execution and browser automation on the Enterprise plan. Enterprise Brain learns a company's voice, terminology and standards from the documents it is given and grounds output in them. Writer is built for Global 2000 organisations that need AI output to read the same across every team. Marketing, sales enablement and support functions use it for volume content. Financial services, healthcare, retail and technology buyers use it where claims and terminology are reviewed before anything ships. Administrators get role-based access, customisable permissions and approval steps, which matter once dozens of teams share one deployment. It is bought as one platform on two plans: Starter for a small team evaluating it, Enterprise for a full rollout. Full AI Studio access, API access and the approval controls sit on Enterprise. Writer publishes no figure for either plan; the plans page lists what each one includes and Enterprise is quoted by sales. In practice teams use Writer to automate win-back email campaigns and refresh existing blog posts for search. Others translate approved material into other languages, or check product claims against internal rules before they ship. Generated copy can go straight to Webflow pages and CMS collections in bulk, or out through the API into whatever a company has already built. The platform sits beside the CRM, the data warehouse and the CMS rather than replacing them. Custom connectors built from an OpenAPI spec let engineering wire agents into internal services.
