Woodpecker is cold email software for outbound teams and agencies, with warm-up and inbox rotation built in and pricing by prospects contacted, not per seat.
Woodpecker runs cold email campaigns that follow up on a schedule and stop for each prospect the moment that person replies. Woodpecker.co S.A. has built it since 2015 and runs it from Wroclaw, Poland. One account covers the outbound routine from start to finish: getting domains and inboxes, warming them up, finding B2B addresses, writing the emails and sending them. The aim is to start conversations with new buyers by email while the sending mailboxes stay in good standing. Campaigns are built as conditional email sequences, whose YES/NO paths branch on an open, a link click or an accepted LinkedIn connection request. Each step can hold several A/B versions, and snippets fill in names and company details at send time, with a fallback for empty fields. Inbox rotation spreads one campaign across several mailboxes, each held to its own daily sending limit. Warm-up and catch-all verification prepare the mailboxes and the list before the first send. Lead Finder searches a B2B contact database for new prospects, and interest level sorts replies into Interested, Maybe later and Not interested. The OpenAI integration drafts subject lines and email copy from a short prompt. Woodpecker is meant for founders, recruiters and small sales teams who send outbound email themselves, and for lead generation agencies working for several clients. It is priced on the number of prospects contacted each month rather than per seat or per mailbox, so adding colleagues or connecting more inboxes leaves the price unchanged. A prospect counts once in every campaign that contacts it. Agencies add the Agency panel, which gives each client view-only access without shared passwords and keeps billing in one place. LinkedIn steps, extra warm-ups, more Lead Finder credits and the integrations are paid add-ons, and a trial opens every feature without a card. Outbound teams use Woodpecker to open first conversations with prospects who do not know them yet, and recruiters reach candidates the same way. With the integrations add-on, prospects stay in two-way sync with HubSpot, while Pipedrive receives sent messages, replies and interest levels. Manual call and SMS tasks remind a rep to phone or text a prospect at a chosen point in the sequence. Agencies repeat the routine for each client from the Agency panel, where a global blacklist keeps blocked domains and addresses out of every client's campaigns. Woodpecker suits senders whose main channel is cold email and who want mailbox upkeep handled in the same account as the campaigns.
