VEED is a browser-based AI video generator and editor for social media creators and marketers, sold per user with a watermarked free tier.
VEED takes a written idea, a photo or a script and turns it into a social video that the same team can cut, caption and brand without leaving the browser. It removes the hop between a generation tool, a separate editor and a captioning app that short video usually involves. The platform is built by Veed Limited, a London company founded in 2018 and registered in England and Wales. Its output is aimed at Instagram, YouTube and the other feeds where short clips are posted. Creation starts in Gen-AI Studio, where text to video, image to video, text to image and talking video share one prompt box. Each clip can run on a different model, including Google Veo, Kling, Pixverse and VEED's own Fabric 1.0. Talking videos use a stock character or a clone of the person making them. A script generator drafts hooks, key points and calls to action before anything renders. Finished clips arrive as scenes on a timeline, where stock media, music, AI voiceovers and automatic subtitles are layered in. Brand Kits apply a logo, colours and fonts, translation re-voices a video in other languages, and a screen recorder captures screen, webcam or both. Social media managers, content marketers and solo creators are the people VEED is built around. Teams that caption, translate and brand many clips get the most from the upper tiers, which add brand kits, custom templates and more AI voice time. Large organisations take the Enterprise plan for central management of teams and data, review mode and privacy controls. Plans are sold per user with an allowance of AI credits, and the free tier exports with a watermark. Developers who want Fabric 1.0, lip sync or background removal inside their own product use the VEED API, billed by usage. A common job is turning a product launch, a tutorial or a webinar invitation into a short clip from a single prompt. Another is taking a long recording and cutting it into captioned pieces for several channels. A walkthrough captured with the screen recorder can go out as a share link or an embed on a company website. Teammates leave timestamped feedback on the cut while it is still in progress. When the edit is done, export presets for Instagram, YouTube and Twitter set the format for the channel the clip is headed to.
