StatusCake is uptime monitoring software for web and DevOps teams, checking sites, APIs, SSL, domains and servers from 43 global locations.

StatusCake is website monitoring software that watches sites, APIs, servers and certificates from outside a company's own infrastructure and raises an alert the moment something stops answering. It exists for a problem most teams meet the hard way: an internal dashboard goes quiet at exactly the moment the public site does. The platform is built and run by StatusCake, the British company registered as TrafficCake Limited, which has been monitoring sites for other teams since 2012. Uptime tests cover HTTP, HEAD, TCP, DNS, SMTP, SSH, PING and PUSH, so a web page, a mail server and a name server can be watched from one account. Page Speed monitoring records how long pages take to load in the places customers actually sit. SSL monitoring and Domain monitoring warn ahead of a certificate or a registration expiring, and Server Monitoring installs with a single line of script to report CPU, memory and disk thresholds. StatusCake Pages turns the same data into a public status page, and alerts leave by email, by SMS and through integrations with Slack, Discord, OpsGenie and Pushover. StatusCake fits web teams, agencies and DevOps engineers who want external confirmation that a service is reachable and a place to tell customers when it is not. Solo developers and side projects run on a single login at no cost. Small businesses share alerting between a couple of people, and larger companies run hundreds of monitors with logins for a whole operations team. It is bought as one subscription per account, and the tier chosen decides how many team members can log in and how many monitors the account may run. A typical account watches production sites and customer-facing APIs, catches an expiring certificate before a browser warning reaches a visitor, tracks a domain renewal date nobody owns, and proves availability to a client with a scheduled report under the agency's own branding. Monitors are created in the dashboard or through the public API, and a Terraform provider lets infrastructure teams keep checks in version control beside the services they cover. Teams already running Slack or OpsGenie route alerts into the channel where they handle incidents, while StatusCake Pages carries the same incident out to customers.
