Spark is an email client for Mac, Windows, iOS and Android from Readdle, with a priority sorting Smart Inbox and shared threads for teams.
Spark is an email client for Mac, Windows, iPhone, iPad, Android and Apple Watch, built for people whose inbox fills faster than they can read it. It sorts the mail that needs an answer away from the newsletters and notifications that do not, so the first screen is a short list rather than a backlog. Spark is part of Readdle, the privately held productivity software company established in 2007, and it is sold under the Readdle group entity Spark Mail Limited. Smart Inbox separates priority email, and Newsletters and Notifications bundles the rest into folders of their own. Gatekeeper holds mail from accounts you have not met until you accept or block them, while Block Sender, Group by Sender, Group Threads and Mute Threads tune what is left. Snooze, Set Aside, Send Later, Reminders and the Done Marker move a message out of the way and bring it back on schedule. Spark +AI carries the Writing Assistant, Quick Replies, Email Summaries and Translations, the AI Assistant answers questions across stored email history, and AI Meeting Notes records Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams calls from the built-in calendar. Spark suits people running several accounts at once, on Gmail, Exchange, AOL or a custom IMAP server, and moving between a Mac and a Windows machine through the day. Small client-facing teams take the collaboration layer, where Shared Threads, Shared Drafts, Private Comments, Assignments and Shared Inboxes keep one reply going out instead of three. Larger organisations take the Enterprise tier for its security controls and a dedicated success manager. Spark is bought per user, monthly or yearly, on one login that covers every device; the Free plan costs nothing and the Enterprise tier is priced on request. Triage is the daily job: clearing an overnight inbox before the first meeting, screening a cold sender, snoozing a thread until an invoice is due, assigning a question to whoever owns it. Integrations turn a message into a task or a note in Asana, Todoist, Evernote, Bear, Agenda or 2Do without leaving the app, and Box, Dropbox and Google Drive take the attachments. Spark CLI opens the same mailbox to AI agents, with read access on the lower tiers and triage access higher up. Spark sits beside a calendar and a task manager rather than replacing them, and it is where the reply actually gets written.
