RhodeCode is self-hosted source code management for Git, Mercurial and Subversion, with an AGPLv3 open-source edition and a per-user Enterprise Edition.

RhodeCode gives an engineering organisation one place to host and review code kept in Git, Mercurial and Subversion. Teams that inherited all three systems get the same permissions, review tools and integrations across every repository. RhodeCode, Inc. develops it independently from offices in Berlin and San Francisco. The AGPLv3 core is open source, and the Enterprise Edition adds commercial features and support. Code review works the same way in all three systems, with pull requests, inline comments and smart commits that trigger approvals and merges. Reviewer rules map file paths to owner groups, and branch permissions block a merge until the approval rule is met. Permission management grants access at team, individual or repository level, backed by IP restrictions and an immutable audit log that streams to a SIEM. The web interface adds an online file editor, full-text code search, and Git LFS beside Mercurial largefiles. Event hooks, webhooks and a full REST API handle automation, while code chat, a task scheduler and parallel instances for high availability complete the platform. RhodeCode fits companies that hold repositories on their own servers, in a private cloud or in an air-gapped network. Security and compliance teams use it to apply one access model to every repository and show that model to an auditor. Companies moving from Subversion to Git can run both side by side and migrate at their own pace. It comes as the open-source Community Edition, the self-hosted Enterprise Edition, or Enterprise Cloud on dedicated machines that RhodeCode operates. A typical installation sits behind the firewall, where developers push to whichever system a project uses and review changes in one web interface. Builds run in Jenkins or Bamboo, started from repository events through integrations and webhooks. Jira and Redmine integrations connect the repositories to the team's existing issue tracking, and Slack carries notifications. Developers sign in through the corporate directory over LDAP or Active Directory, or through SAML with Azure Entra ID, OneLogin or Duo. The result is one governed home for code that spans three version control systems.
