Qlik Sense is Qlik's business intelligence software for self-service dashboards and AI-assisted analysis, run in Qlik's cloud or on your own servers.

Qlik Sense turns data spread across databases, warehouses and business applications into interactive apps that people explore without writing code. Qlik, the analytics and data integration company founded in Lund, Sweden in 1993, develops and sells it. In the cloud the product now goes by Qlik Cloud Analytics, which builds on the Qlik Sense foundation with agentic AI and automation. A client-managed edition, Qlik Sense Enterprise on Windows, runs on a company's own servers. An app is built on sheets, where charts and tables are placed by dragging objects and fields, and master items hold measures and dimensions defined once for reuse. Data arrives through AI-assisted visual preparation, or stays in Snowflake, Databricks, Google BigQuery or Amazon Redshift and is read live through Direct Query. Insight Advisor answers questions typed in plain language and runs anomaly and trend analysis that flags sudden shifts in a measure. Selections in one chart filter every linked chart, and drill-down groups move from a summary to the detail beneath it. Section Access limits the rows each user sees, while lineage and impact analysis traces a field to its source and to everything that depends on it. The product suits analysts and business teams who need to explore data rather than wait for fixed reports. It also fits data teams that want one governed model behind every dashboard, from a small business with a single analytics group to an enterprise publishing apps to many departments through managed and shared spaces. Public sector bodies can run it in a government cloud, and companies that keep data on their own infrastructure can host it themselves. Qlik Data Gateway Direct Access lets the cloud service reach databases behind a firewall without opening inbound ports. A typical rollout starts when a team connects its warehouse tables, builds an app around shared measures and publishes it to colleagues who explore it by clicking. Qlik Reporting Service then delivers scheduled snapshots by email to people who only need the headline figures. When a dashboard shows a change worth acting on, Qlik Automate can start a workflow in Salesforce, Microsoft Teams or Slack. Staff away from a desk download apps to the iOS and Android mobile app and keep working offline. The result is a set of governed apps a whole organization explores on its own, without asking an analyst for each new cut of the data.
