Pickaxe is a no-code AI agent builder for creators and consultancies that sell agents through branded portals; hosted, on flat plans with usage credits.

Pickaxe turns a prompt, a set of documents and a few connected actions into an AI agent that other people can pay to use. The hard part it takes on comes after the build: putting the agent in front of customers, charging them and keeping usage in check. Pickaxe Inc develops it as its only product, with no parent company behind it. Agents take shape in the agent builder, where the prompt, the knowledge base and the actions sit beside a live preview. The knowledge base holds documents and websites the agent retrieves from, and actions reach other services, a bring-your-own MCP server or a fully custom action. Each agent can run on a different model and switch at any time, and snapshots let a builder revert to an earlier version. Finished agents live in Workspaces and reach people through website embeds, branded portals, the Agent API, or Slack and WhatsApp. Access groups decide who gets in, sell member subscriptions and cap the credits each user spends, while user memory keeps context between visits. Solopreneurs and creators use Pickaxe to sell an AI tool without building logins or billing themselves. AI consultancies deliver white-labeled agents to clients, and teams build shared solutions on the top tier. Plans are flat monthly or annual subscriptions that include a monthly credit allowance for model usage, and the Business tier is arranged after a call. When an agent earns money, Pickaxe keeps a share that shrinks on the higher plans. Typical jobs include a website chat agent that answers from a company's help documents, a lead magnet behind a short form, and a coaching tool sold by subscription. When a lead or a result has to land in another system, Zapier, Make or n8n carry it there. Builders who prefer a terminal hand the work to Claude Code or Cursor through the Pickaxe CLI or the Pickaxe MCP Server, setting up several agents in one conversation. Pickaxe fits the builder whose plan is to charge for an agent, not only to run one.
