PandaDoc takes a business document from first draft to signature and payment in one place, so a proposal no longer moves between a word processor, a signing tool and an invoicing app. PandaDoc Inc., founded in Silicon Valley in 2014, builds it and runs it from San Francisco as a remote-first company. Signatures follow the ESIGN Act, UETA and eIDAS, and qualified signatures come through trust service providers such as Evrotrust. Templates hold the content, fields and signer roles of a recurring document, and the Content library keeps approved blocks ready to drop in. Pricing tables and the Product catalog turn a proposal into a quote, while CPQ handles configured pricing on Enterprise. Before anything goes out, teams use inline comments, suggested edits, editing in Microsoft Word and approval workflows. Sending covers signing order, in-person signing, bulk send, conditional fields, auto reminders and identity checks by SMS code, knowledge-based questions or ID. Every signed file carries a signature certificate, and payment is taken through Stripe or Pay by Bank inside the signing flow. PandaDoc is aimed at sales teams that send proposals and contracts every week and want the document, the signature and the payment in one record. Occasional signers start on the Free eSign plan, and growing teams buy Starter or Business per seat, billed monthly or annually. Larger organisations move to Enterprise, quoted per seat or per document, which adds SSO, team workspaces, Smart content and Notary. Work that runs outside the editor, such as the API, web forms, bulk send and automations, draws on Usage Credits bought in recurring packs. A typical deal starts in the CRM, where a rep creates the proposal from a HubSpot or Salesforce record and watches for the client's first view through real-time notifications. Operations and legal staff reuse the same templates for rental agreements, order forms and service contracts, sometimes as a public form anyone can fill and sign. Developers embed signing in their own product through the API, so customers sign without leaving the app. Signed files can then land in SharePoint through External Automations built on Workato. For a sales team, the quote a client signs can also collect that client's first payment.
