OneSpan Sign is e-signature software for banks, insurers and regulated firms, with signer ID checks, eIDAS qualified signatures and quote-only volume pricing.
OneSpan Sign replaces paper on contracts and account openings with an electronic process that keeps evidence of every step. Each completed document carries an embedded audit trail showing who signed, the date and time of signing and the digital certificate used. OneSpan Inc., a Boston company traded on Nasdaq, builds it within its Digital Agreements line. The company's other line is cybersecurity, home to Digipass authenticators and Cloud Authentication. Senders start a transaction from uploaded documents or from reusable templates with signature and field placements already set. Form fields include checkboxes, radio buttons, drop-down lists and text, and If/Then conditional logic reveals fields based on a signer's answers. Signers follow a set order or sign in parallel, face to face or remotely over the web, with automated email reminders and expirations. Bulk sending gives each person on an imported list a unique copy, while Fast Track turns a transaction into a reusable URL or QR code for a website. Before signing, a signer can be checked by SMS one-time code, Q&A knowledge-based authentication or a government ID check with video liveness detection. The product suits banks, insurers and other regulated organizations that need to show how each signer was identified. Signatures can meet the eIDAS SES, AES and QES levels and Swiss ZertES, with certificates from third-party trust service providers. Development teams embed the signing screens in their own applications through a public REST API and supported .NET, Java and APEX SDKs. White labeling puts a company's logo, colors and sender domain on emails and the signing page. Buyers take a single Enterprise plan sized by transaction volume through a quote, with SMS notifications and identity verification as paid add-ons. Common jobs are customer onboarding, in-branch and call-center signing, and loan or insurance agreements that pass through several signers. A bank officer can launch an agreement from Salesforce or Dynamics, collect the customer's signature at the counter, and let the signed file route back to SharePoint. Teams that store documents in Google Drive, Box or Dropbox send from those folders the same way, and HubSpot users send from inside the CRM. Organizations in Europe choose the qualified signature path when a contract calls for that level of assurance.
