Method CRM is a customizable CRM for small businesses that run their books in QuickBooks or Xero, with two-way QuickBooks sync, sold per user per month.
Method CRM puts leads, estimates, jobs, invoices and payments in one system and writes each change back to QuickBooks, so a sale is never keyed in twice. Method Integration, an independent software company in Toronto, builds and runs it. The product targets growing firms that have outgrown spreadsheets and rigid CRMs but keep their books in QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop. A Xero version offers customer management, portals, campaigns, estimates and invoicing for firms on that ledger. Customer Management gives each account a 360-degree view, and Customer Portals let clients check their records and pay at any hour. Lead Management captures enquiries through Web to Lead forms, logs activities and tracks Opportunities through stages with a probability on each. Estimates go out for online approval, Proposals carry e-signatures, and Invoicing collects online payments through Method Pay or a connected gateway. Job Management adds work orders, time tracking, and scheduling and dispatching for crews. A drag-and-drop builder lets an administrator add fields, screens and whole apps, and Method AI helps build screens and actions. Method suits manufacturers, wholesalers and distributors, field service firms, construction contractors, professional services practices and franchise operators. It is aimed at small and growing businesses whose bookkeeping already runs in QuickBooks, where sales and operations need the same records as finance. Franchises and multi-location companies can take the Multi-entity edition, which joins several QuickBooks accounts in one dashboard. Buyers pay per user per month across three self-serve tiers, and each team member can sit on a different tier. Multi-entity is quoted by the sales team, and a trial without a card starts on CRM Pro. A typical run starts with a Web to Lead form on the company website and ends with a paid invoice already in QuickBooks. Between those points, a rep converts the lead and sends an estimate for approval. The approved estimate becomes a job, then an invoice, while the office follows the pipeline on dashboards and custom reports. Field staff work from the iOS and Android apps, and the Gmail add-on saves an email to a contact with one click. The fit is closest for a business whose day runs from quote to job to invoice, with QuickBooks as the record at the end of it.
