Make is a no-code automation platform from Celonis for teams that build, run and watch workflows and AI agents across their business apps in one visual builder.
Make lets a team connect the software it runs on and hand the routine work between those tools to scenarios assembled visually, without integration code. Make is part of Celonis and has served customers since 2015 from its headquarters in Prague. The same platform is where teams build, manage and oversee AI agents. Each run stays visible step by step, so anyone can see what an automation or an agent did and why. A scenario starts from a trigger, which can be a schedule, an app event or a webhook that fires the moment a request arrives. Modules then read, create, update or search data in connected apps, and the Router splits a scenario into routes with a filter on each. Built-in functions reshape text, dates and numbers, while data stores keep lookup values between runs. Iterators and aggregators work through large record sets, and the HTTP app calls any API with built-in pagination. Error handlers such as Retry, Break and Rollback decide what happens when a step fails, and scenario run replay repeats a job with its original trigger data. Make suits operations, marketing, sales, finance and IT teams that want to automate across their apps without waiting for developers. Individuals and small teams can build alone, and larger groups organise their work with team roles and shared scenario templates. Developers extend the catalog with custom apps built on the Make TypeScript SDK and drive the platform through the Make API. Companies with systems behind a firewall use the on-premise agent to reach local databases without changing firewall settings. Software companies can offer Make inside their own product through Make White Label. Sales teams use it to write each new Pipedrive record into a Google Sheets row, and operations teams reshape data from one app before it lands in Airtable. Others add OpenAI steps to a scenario or post a Slack message when something changes in another tool. The History tab shows what every module received and returned, and version history restores an earlier saved scenario when an edit goes wrong. For a team whose processes cross many apps, Make keeps the whole chain on one visible canvas that people and agents share.
