Lindy is an AI agent that works as a Slack teammate, handling email, meeting prep and CRM updates for small teams, sold per seat with a shared pool of credits.
Lindy takes on the busywork a team would otherwise hand to an assistant: answering questions, drafting replies, preparing for meetings and keeping records current. People ask for help in a Slack channel or a direct message, the way they would ask a colleague. Lindy then does the work across the apps the team already uses. It is developed by Crivello Corp, an independent Oregon corporation that trades under the Lindy name. The product is designed as the alternative to an agent builder, so nobody maps out steps before the first answer arrives. Every answer carries Cited Sources that point back to the Slack thread, Notion page or file it came from. Memory keeps durable knowledge about the team between tasks. Routines run work on a schedule or on an event, such as an email arriving, a calendar event about to start or a meeting ending. The Meeting Library keeps recorded meetings on hand, and Artifacts turn a request into a report, a deck or an HTML dashboard. A Require approval setting asks a person in Slack before Lindy writes to a connected tool, and Lindy Build adds an app-building mode for people without technical skills. Lindy is aimed at founders and operations leads at small companies who want work handed off with no setup project. Marketing, sales, support, finance, product and engineering teams that already live in Slack use it too. Access is sold per seat: every active user in the workspace is billed and brings a monthly allowance of credits into one shared pool. Credits are spent only while Lindy is working, admins can cap each seat's share, and more can be bought whenever the pool runs low. Larger organisations buy an Enterprise contract through a demo, which adds HIPAA compliance with a signed BAA, SSO and SCIM, and audit logs. A typical morning starts with a brief in Slack, then moves to the inbox, where Lindy sorts Gmail and drafts the replies. After a sales call it updates the deal in HubSpot or Salesforce without anyone opening the CRM. Support teams have it work through the day's queue, while marketers ask it to research a competitor and write up the findings. When a tool is missing from the prebuilt integrations, a hosted MCP server lets Lindy build actions from that server's tools. Lindy fits a small team that would rather ask for work in Slack than design an automation for it.
