JWX is a video hosting and streaming platform for media companies, covering library management, live delivery, DRM and ad monetization. Pricing is quote only.
JWX is a video hosting, streaming and monetization platform for media companies that publish video at scale. It holds the library, the delivery path and the advertising in one system, so a publisher is not running a player, a delivery pipeline and an ad stack separately. The platform comes from JWX, the New York company formed when JW Player and Connatix merged in October 2024 and renamed from JWP Connatix in December 2025. Both of the older web addresses now lead to jwx.com. The platform is sold as three areas. JWX Content Hub is the publishing side, for reshaping a story into video, distributing it across channels and earning from it out of one library. JWX Streaming Hub covers delivery, with JWX VOD for on-demand, JWX Live and Broadcast Live for instant events and 24x7 channels, and live capture, transcoding, clipping, archiving and replays alongside them. Access control runs through Studio DRM with FairPlay, Widevine and PlayReady, token signing and geoblocking. Dynamic Strategy Rules, MRSS import, multiple libraries with access roles and the video management and delivery APIs sit underneath. QuantumPath by JWX is the advertising layer, an orchestration tier above an existing buying platform that automates campaign setup. JWX suits media businesses whose revenue depends on video rather than teams adding a handful of clips to a website. Digital publishers running article video, broadcasters with live channels, streaming services that need premium content protected, and advertising operations teams selling video inventory are the shapes it is built around. It expects engineers, because the management and delivery APIs, the mobile SDKs and the player documentation are how most of the platform is reached. It is bought through a sales conversation rather than a signup form: the pricing pages name editions such as Express Edition, Publishing and Broadcasting, and meter them on hours managed, gigabytes delivered and minutes transcoded, without publishing a figure for any of them. In daily use JWX is the system a video desk works in. Content arrives by upload or an MRSS feed, is transcoded and stored, and goes out to the web, to mobile apps built on the Android, iOS and React SDKs, and to connected screens. A live event is captured, streamed, clipped and kept as a replay in the same library as everything else. Playback data feeds the Data and Analytics service and a Google Analytics integration, while revenue comes back through VAST and Google IMA, Prebid.js header bidding, JWX SSAI and the Deep Contextual targeting JWX applies inside the video itself. The architecture is cloud agnostic with open APIs, so it fits beside an existing content management system and demand-side platforms such as The Trade Desk and Display & Video 360.
