invideo is an agentic AI video editor that pairs a generating agent with a timeline editor, for filmmakers and ad teams, sold per seat with monthly credits.
invideo takes a written idea, a creative brief or a reference clip through to a finished, exportable cut. Invideo Inc. owns and sells it, and in April 2026 rebuilt the product around an agent that works inside a professional editor. From 2022 it ran as invideo AI, and the older invideo Studio editor stays open for its existing users. The aim is to keep generating, correcting and finishing a film in one project. Agent Two is the agent: it takes a prompt or a brief and generates video and stills with models such as Seedance, Nano Banana Pro and GPT Image. It also reviews and corrects its own output before handing it over. Context stores the script, treatment, deck, brand guidelines and product details, and the agent checks them before each generation. Playbooks hold the standing rules it follows on every project, and Workflows such as Reference to Campaign and Localisation walk a team through a set job. The invideo Editor is where people take over, with colour, audio and 3D tools, live multiplayer editing with comment threads, and dubbing that keeps a cut's timing and speaker intent. The people it serves are filmmakers, ad agencies, brand teams and production studios whose output is a finished film. Ecommerce teams can make product page video and the matching images from the same project. Buyers subscribe per seat, and every seat comes with a monthly credit allowance that each model draws down at its own rate. Bigger teams step up to business plans with more storage, premium stock footage and round-the-clock support, and large organisations negotiate custom capacity with sales. Typical jobs are ad films, UGC-style ads, microdramas, product videos and dubbed versions of a campaign for new markets. A project leaves as a rendered video or as an editable project for Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve, so a colourist who masters elsewhere keeps working there. Its MCP server lets agents in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or ChatGPT make edits on the same timeline. invideo fits a creative team that wants the AI draft and the final cut to share one project.
