Guru is an AI knowledge management and wiki platform for enterprise teams, sold as a scoped package rather than at a published per-seat price.

Guru is an AI knowledge management platform that gives a company one verified answer to the question its teams keep asking in different places. Most of what a business knows sits in wikis, chat threads, tickets and drives, where copies drift apart and nobody can tell which version is current. Guru connects those sources, structures what it finds, and returns cited answers that respect the permissions of the system each fact came from. It is made by Guru Technologies, a company based in Philadelphia. The platform builds a single retrieval index across connected sources through permission-aware ingestion, so nobody sees more in Guru than they can see at the source. Knowledge Agents draft cards out of conversations and tickets, verify them on a schedule and unverify content that has gone stale. Authors work together in real time with rich formatting, content templates and built-in review by a subject matter expert, and file the result in Collections. AI Chat answers a question with citations, Deep research mode synthesizes a structured report across sources, and Scoped web search limits outside lookups to domains an admin approved. Enterprise Governance holds the rest: inherited permissions, audit trails and answer lineage across every consumer, human or machine. Guru suits knowledge managers, IT leads and support and HR teams at organizations where several tools each hold part of the truth. It fits companies that have already put ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot or Cursor in front of staff and now need one governed source for those assistants to read, and teams working under SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA or GxP obligations. It is bought as one scoped engagement rather than a per-seat plan, with the platform, a solution engineering team and enterprise governance packaged together and the scope set on a call with the vendor. Day to day, Guru answers where people already work: in Slack, in Microsoft Teams, in the browser extension and in the Guru web app. It connects to Salesforce, Zendesk, Confluence, SharePoint and Google Drive, syncs HRIS and identity data so permissions stay current, and exposes the same governed knowledge to outside AI tools over MCP, an API and a CLI. Targeted announcements push a change to the teams it affects, and reporting covers usage, searches and knowledge health.
