GUIDEcx is client onboarding software for B2B implementation teams, with shared project plans, a no-login customer portal and CRM-triggered automation.
GUIDEcx runs the implementation project that begins when a business customer signs, so the vendor and the customer work from one plan until go-live. It is made by GUIDEcx, Inc., an independent company in Draper, Utah, led by CEO and co-founder Peter Ord. The founders built it because buyers in many industries told them the move from sales to implementation was not working. Every task, owner and due date sits in a shared project, so both sides see the same status. A project starts from a template that sets its milestones, task groups and dependencies, and the plan can be read as a Gantt, List or Board view. Customers reach their tasks through Compass, a white-labeled web and mobile portal they open from a secure link without a password. Update, assignment and reminder emails go out on their own to internal staff and customer contacts. Project Notes and the Global Inbox keep each conversation with the customer on the project. Recipe Builder, an integration layer built on Workato, starts projects, sends messages and moves data when something happens in a connected tool. Resource Management, with its Estimated Capacity page, time tracking and Intelligent End Date Forecasting give managers a view of workload and timing. The platform suits SaaS companies, EdTech providers and design or services agencies that implement their product for each new customer. Implementation managers use it to run many rollouts at once without losing track of who owes what. Customer success teams use it to keep the customer accountable for their share of the work. Delivery leaders use the capacity and utilization views to staff incoming projects. It also fits vendors whose customers should not have to learn another tool, since each customer sees only their own tasks. A typical rollout begins in the CRM, where a closed-won deal in HubSpot or Salesforce opens the onboarding project with the deal ID attached. The customer then works through tasks in the portal while reminders chase anything overdue. The internal team hears about completions in a Slack or Microsoft Teams channel, and requirements gathered in Google Forms land on the project. Recipe Builder also links the work to tools such as Gainsight, Zendesk and NetSuite. At go-live, a CSAT survey records how the customer rated the onboarding they just went through.
