Firefly is an infrastructure-as-code platform that maps multi-cloud assets, codifies unmanaged resources and controls drift for platform and DevOps teams.

Firefly shows a platform team everything running in its cloud accounts and how much of it is described in code. Resources built by hand in a console, which Firefly calls ClickOps, fall out of step with the Terraform meant to define them and are hard to rebuild. Firefly finds those gaps, writes the missing code and keeps later changes in line with policy. Behind it is Infralight Ltd., which trades under the Firefly name and has no parent company. Inventory lists the assets Firefly discovers across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, OCI and Kubernetes, and the IaC coverage assessment marks which are managed as code. Codification writes Terraform for an unmanaged resource, with an import block so it stays managed from then on. Thinkerbell AI generates new configuration from a plain-language request. Workflows run Terraform, OpenTofu and Terragrunt, plan when a pull request opens and apply on merge or after a manual approval. Guardrails check each plan against custom policies and estimated cost, drift detection works from live events and scheduled scans, and backup and recovery restore whole environments from their recorded configuration. The product suits platform and DevOps teams that run more than one cloud and inherited resources nobody wrote down. It fits organizations moving their estate onto Terraform or OpenTofu that want every change reviewed against policy before it lands. Teams that deploy inside private networks can run the work on self-hosted runners. Enterprises that must prove they can recover from a cyberattack, an outage or an AI agent's mistake use it for evidence toward SOC 2, ISO and DORA. Most of the daily work starts in a repository on GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or Azure DevOps, where a pull request triggers the plan and Guardrails decide whether it can proceed. Shared modules live in a private Module Registry so teams reuse approved building blocks. Slack, ServiceNow and Datadog connect it to the team's chat, ticketing and monitoring. When a region is lost to ransomware, Firefly rebuilds it in a clean region from the code and configuration history it keeps.
