Finout is a FinOps platform for cloud and AI cost management that allocates spend to teams and customers without relying on cloud tags; sold by quote.

Finout pulls the bills from AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, Oracle Cloud, Kubernetes clusters, data platforms and AI model providers into one ledger. It then splits that total among the teams, products and customers that ran it up. Finout Inc. and Finout Ltd. build it; the company dates from 2021 and keeps offices in Tel Aviv and New York. The starting problem is a cost picture spread across several provider consoles, each with its own gaps in tagging. Finance and engineering end up working from the same numbers rather than from separate exports. MegaBill is the central view, one bill covering every connected provider and service. Virtual Tags assign spend to cost centers through ordered rules, without changing the labels on the original resources, and Shared Cost reallocation redistributes common charges. Tag Governance defines tagging policies, while Financial Plans hold budgets and forecasts per line item and raise an alert when a run rate passes its budget. Anomaly detection flags unexpected spikes in Slack, Microsoft Teams or email. CostGuard scans for idle resources, rightsizing chances and commitment savings, and My Commitments tracks Reserved Instance and Savings Plans coverage on AWS and Azure. The platform is built for FinOps teams at companies that run more than one cloud or spend heavily on AI APIs. Platform engineers use its Kubernetes view to break shared cluster spend down by namespace and label. Finance teams use Financial Plans to budget and forecast by cost center alongside engineering. SaaS companies use Automatic and Custom Unit Economics to see what each customer costs to serve. It suits organisations whose cloud tags are incomplete, because Virtual Tags allocate spend without relying on them. Showback is the regular job: each team sees its share of the cloud bill on a FinOps dashboard. Scheduled reports deliver the same view daily, weekly or monthly to a Slack channel or an inbox. When an anomaly alert lands, an engineer opens MegaBill, filters to the service that spiked and groups it by cost center to find the owner. Before buying more Reserved Instances or Savings Plans, the FinOps lead checks coverage and utilization in My Commitments. OpenAI and Anthropic charges sit in the same ledger as Datadog, Snowflake and Databricks, so model costs are reported beside infrastructure. Data teams load the daily Parquet export from their own S3 bucket into Athena, Snowflake or BigQuery when finance wants cloud and AI spend explained team by team.
