WOMBO AI Inc., a company based in Toronto, builds and runs it. The same app now also edits images and makes video. It works in the browser at dream.ai and as apps for iOS and Android. Image generation starts from a prompt and a style picked from a curated library, with style search and a Surprise Me button that chooses one at random. A reference image can steer the result, with an adjustable weight for how strongly it counts. The AI Image Editor changes part of a picture from a text description, using inpainting and reference images pulled from the gallery.
