Cynet is an EDR and XDR platform for MSPs and lean IT teams, sold by quote in three packages, two with Cynet's own CyOps analysts on watch around the clock.
Cynet gives a security team one console for stopping attacks on laptops, servers, user accounts, networks and cloud applications. It is made by Cynet Security Ltd., an independent company whose CyOps analysts monitor customer alerts day and night. The aim is detection and response that a small team can run without building a security operations centre of its own. Every package runs on one agent and one console that combine endpoint protection, endpoint detection and response, network detection and response, user behavior analytics and deception technology. On an alert, analysts follow the process tree, the command lines and the script traces behind it, then isolate the host, kill a process or open a remote shell on a Windows machine. Auto-Remediation rules and automated playbooks act on alerts as they arrive. XDR correlation, identity threat detection and response, and SaaS and cloud posture management carry that view past the endpoint. Mobile Threat Detection, SIEM Analytics, Web Threat Protection and an AI Security inventory extend the same console further. Managed service providers are a core audience, running many customer sites from a multi-site dashboard. Small and mid-sized companies whose IT staff also carry security are the other, along with security teams in compliance-driven or high-risk environments. Buyers choose among the Protect, Elite and All-in-One packages, which differ in how much of the platform is switched on and how much monitoring Cynet's analysts take over. Cynet has published results from the MITRE ATT&CK Evaluations, most recently the 2025 round. Containing ransomware on an infected machine and working through an overnight alert queue with CyOps are among the jobs it is hired for. CyOps analysts also run proactive threat hunts with Cynet's own tools. MSPs roll out the agent through the RMM tool they already run, such as Datto RMM, NinjaOne or N-able. Alerts and audit logs travel by syslog to a SIEM such as QRadar, and a block action can push an attacker's address to a Fortigate or Palo Alto firewall. It fits a lean team that wants the detection tooling and the night shift from one vendor.
