Corgea is an AI-native SAST platform that scans code, dependencies, secrets and IaC and proposes fixes in pull requests, sold per developer seat.
Corgea finds security flaws in source code and drafts the fix, so developers spend less time on findings that turn out to be false alarms. Its scanner reads code for logic and authorization flaws as well as injection and cross-site scripting bugs. The San Francisco firm Corgea, Inc. started it in 2023 and is a Y Combinator company from the Summer 2023 cohort. AI SAST is the core engine, and Logic and Auth Scanning sits beside it for flaws in access control. Dependency Scanning reports known vulnerabilities in third-party libraries and checks their licenses, while Secrets Detection flags hardcoded keys and tokens. Container Scanning and IaC Scanning cover images and Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm and CloudFormation files. PR Scanning comments on the changed lines of each pull request, and each auto fix can be applied from the issue view or opened as a pull request. Blocking Rules fail a check by severity, CWE or license, and Reporting & Analytics tracks scan activity across the organization. The product suits engineering teams that want security findings in code review instead of a separate backlog. Application security leads use it to set gates on pipelines and to watch vulnerability trends across many repositories. Small teams can put SAST, dependency, secrets, container and IaC checks on one account instead of several tools. Organizations that want their code kept off shared infrastructure can choose a single-tenant or licensed self-hosted deployment. Developers meet Corgea where they already review code, through its GitHub App or its GitLab, Azure DevOps and Bitbucket connections. In the editor, its VS Code, Cursor, Visual Studio 2022 and JetBrains extensions surface findings while the code is being written. Security work can move on to JIRA or Linear for teams that track tickets there. The daily job is the pull request check: scan the change, explain the flaw and offer the repair before merge.
