Codemagic is CI/CD for mobile app teams: it builds, code signs and publishes iOS, Android and Flutter apps on hosted Macs, billed by the minute or by the year.

Codemagic takes a mobile app from a pushed commit to a signed build in the hands of testers or in the app stores. It runs on hosted machines, so a team keeps no build server of its own and no Mac under a desk for iOS work. Nevercode Ltd, which trades as Codemagic from Tartu, Estonia, launched it for Flutter apps in December 2018. It has since grown to cover native iOS and Android, React Native, Unity and Ionic. Workflows are set up in the Flutter workflow editor or written as code in a codemagic.yaml file kept in the repository. Builds start on a push, a pull request or a tag from GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or Azure DevOps. Schedules run them at regular intervals, and dependency caching lets later builds reuse fetched packages. Code signing identities are managed inside Codemagic through an Apple Developer portal integration, and secret variables stay encrypted and hidden in build logs. App Preview opens iOS and Android builds in browser simulators and shares them through links. Codemagic is built for teams whose product is a mobile app and who would rather not maintain their own release machinery. Flutter and React Native shops gain the most, since one service builds both the iOS and the Android release. A single developer can start alone, and a studio adds teammates as it grows. Larger companies move to dedicated machines and network, single sign-on and an audit log connector. The everyday job is the release cycle: a check on each pull request, a nightly build, and a signed release that goes out to testers or the stores. Releases upload to TestFlight, the App Store and Google Play, with changelogs and version numbers set in the same run. Beta builds reach tester groups directly or through Firebase App Distribution. Code quality and coverage checks run through SonarCloud and Codecov, device tests through BrowserStack, while Slack and Jira connect to the same workflow. For a mobile team, that turns release day from a checklist of manual uploads into one pipeline that starts with a commit.
