CloudZero is cloud cost management software that maps AWS, Azure, Google Cloud and AI spend to teams, products and customers, sold by quote after a demo.

CloudZero answers a question cloud bills leave open: which product, team or customer each dollar of cloud and AI spend went to. CloudZero Inc. of Boston builds it, and the company is independent. The platform starts from the billing data a company already has. It does not need clean resource tags before it can begin assigning costs. Cost sources bring in the AWS Cost and Usage Report, Azure cost data and the Google Cloud billing export. AnyCost adaptors add other vendors' bills, and native connections cover OpenAI and Datadog. Dimensions assign that spend through written rules or a visual editor, and Views give each team its own grouping, shared by link. Costs are recorded by the hour and read in Explorer and in Analytics dashboards, and a dashboard can go out on a schedule by email, webhook, Amazon S3 or SFTP. Budgets and Forecasts sit on each View, while anomaly detection watches all spend without setup and alerts by email, Slack or Google Chat. Optimization recommendations cover rightsizing and idle resources on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, each with an estimated saving. Kubernetes costs split by cluster, namespace, workload and label, and the Unit Cost Metric Telemetry API turns spend into a cost per customer or per order. CloudZero suits companies whose cloud and AI bills have outgrown what one person can explain. FinOps practitioners use it to allocate shared costs, engineering leads to follow the spend of their own services, and finance staff to plan by team. Limited Access roles keep each user to the spend their Dimensions allow, and an SSO login attribute can map one role across many teams. SaaS businesses that serve many customers on shared infrastructure use the unit cost metrics to see what each account costs to run. Companies rolling AI tools out across departments can place model provider spend beside their cloud accounts. An anomaly alert in a team's Slack channel points engineers to the service whose spend jumped, before the month closes. Platform teams install the CloudZero agent, or use its Amazon EKS option, to learn which workload in a shared cluster drives its cost. Data teams receive cost data in Snowflake through Data Shares, or pull it over the REST API, and query it beside their own product tables. Bills from Databricks, MongoDB, New Relic and Cursor can sit in the same Views as the cloud accounts. CloudZero fits organisations that want each engineering team to see the cost of what it runs and to answer for it.
