Botsonic is Writesonic's no-code AI chatbot and agent builder for support teams, trained on a company's own content and sold in tiers by monthly messages.
Botsonic answers customer and employee questions with AI chatbots and agents that learn from a company's own website, files and help center. Writesonic, Inc., the San Francisco company behind the Writesonic content platform, runs it as a separate product with its own site, sign-up and plans. A team builds and trains a bot without code, then places it wherever its customers already ask questions. The aim is to take routine questions off a support queue while keeping every answer tied to published material. Bots learn from PDF, Word and text files, website pages, sitemaps and question-and-answer pairs, kept in sync with the site on the Advanced tier. Custom guidelines set the bot's tone, multilingual mode replies in the visitor's language, and appearance settings add the company logo and colours. AI Workflows give a bot a trigger, training phrases and a series of steps, such as an API call or a document lookup. That lets a bot carry a task through to the end instead of only answering. The inbox keeps every conversation for review and export, while Advanced AI Analytics reports resolution rate, sentiment, unanswered queries and popular topics. Customer support teams are the core audience, using a bot to absorb repeat questions before they reach an agent. HR and internal service teams run it as an employee assistant, and online shops use it to suggest products during a chat. Small businesses start on a self-serve tier after a trial. Larger support operations move to Enterprise for Salesforce and Freshdesk ticketing, SharePoint and Confluence integrations, and SAML single sign-on. Each subscription tier, paid monthly or annually, sets the number of bots, team seats and messages, with more capacity sold as add-ons. Most bots go live as a website widget, an iframe or a shared link, installed by hand, through WordPress or through Google Tag Manager. The same bot can also answer in Telegram, Facebook Messenger, Slack or Google Chat. In support work it is trained on the help center, and the inbox shows which questions that content does not yet answer. When a customer asks for a person, the chat passes to a live agent in Zendesk along with a ticket. Botsonic fits best where the answers already exist in writing and the same questions arrive at the support desk every day.
