Bito is an AI code review agent for pull requests on GitHub, GitLab and Bitbucket and for the IDE and terminal, sold per seat, with a self-hosted option.

Bito reads every pull request against the rest of the codebase and leaves review comments before a teammate opens it. Bito Inc., which Amar Goel, Anand Das and Mukesh Agarwal started in 2021, builds and sells it. Two other parts share the platform. Governor routes requests between a team's coding agents and the models they call, to cut token costs. AI Architect works out how a change affects other repositories. When a pull request opens, AI Code Reviews in Git posts a summary that names the type of change, estimates the review effort and tables the files it touches. Comments then land on individual lines, and serious findings arrive as formal Request changes comments that stay open until someone replies /resolve. Beside its own reading, the agent runs linters such as ESLint, golangci-lint and Astral Ruff, and scanners such as Snyk, Whispers and detect-secrets. Custom review guidelines, kept as files in the repository or set on a dashboard, steer what it checks, and auto-learn adjusts to the feedback developers give. The same reviews run in VS Code, JetBrains IDEs, Cursor and Windsurf, and from the terminal through the CLI. The agent suits engineering teams on GitHub, GitLab or Bitbucket, cloud or self-managed, that want the same first pass on every change. Companies that keep source code inside their own network can run it as a self-hosted service. Developers who want feedback before they push get it in their editor. Teams license it per developer seat, and larger organisations arrange an Enterprise agreement directly with Bito. A pull request typically gets Bito's summary and line comments first, and a teammate then reviews what is left. Teams with written standards turn them into guideline files, so each repository is checked against its own rules. Review can also run as a step in a CI/CD pipeline. Engineering leads read Code Review Analytics to see which repositories and submitters raise the most issues, and how often developers accept the fixes Bito suggests.
