AdPlugg is a hosted ad server and ad manager for publishers who sell banner, video and newsletter ad space directly, priced by a base fee plus usage.

AdPlugg lets a website owner sell ad space directly and serve those ads without running an ad server of their own. Publishers set up campaigns in the ad manager, and the hosted ad server delivers them to any site through a plugin or a tag. Its maker is also called AdPlugg and runs the service from adplugg.com, with Collin Krawll as chief executive. Ads are organised into zones, the slots on a page, and placements, which decide which ads fill each zone and in what order. Scheduling gives each ad a start and stop date, and rotation cycles several ads through one placement. Path targeting and Open Graph tag targeting match ads to pages by URL or by page topic. Formats run from image, text and bar ads to HTML5, dialog, slide-in, interstitial and video units, plus third-party tags such as Google AdSense. Advertiser tags carry an advertiser's creative onto other publishers' sites, and the AdPlugg Network can fill zones with network ads. Reports chart impressions and clicks and download as PDF, XLSX or CSV files. The service suits bloggers, small publishers and businesses that sell sponsor slots to their own advertisers. It works on WordPress, Shopify, Wix, Squarespace, Weebly and Ghost sites, and on any other site that can hold a tag. A no-cost plan covers low-traffic sites showing image ads. Paid plans charge a monthly base fee plus a usage rate that falls as impression volume grows. The Business plan adds what a sales team needs: delivery limits and pacing, frequency controls, ad groups with A/B tests and emailed reports, while larger publishers can ask for a custom plan. A common job is rotating sold sponsor banners through a sidebar, with premium and basic slots tiered by placement order. Sites already running Google AdSense serve its tags in a zone beside the ads they sell themselves. Newsletter publishers place ads inside Mailchimp and Constant Contact campaigns, and video sites run skippable pre-roll in JW Player or Brightcove players. Ads also serve on AMP pages. AdPlugg fits a publisher that sells its own inventory and wants scheduling, rotation and reporting in one hosted tool.
