Adnuntius

Adnuntius is an ad server and ad marketplace for publishers and retailers that sell their own advertising, built in Oslo and sold by quote.

Adnuntius gives media owners the machinery to run advertising as a business of their own instead of renting it from a large network. The Oslo company of the same name builds it, with offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Melbourne. Six components share one login: the Ad Server core, the Marketplace, a data management platform, a Prebid Wrapper, Political Ads and Storage. Customers can use the Marketplace, build on the infrastructure, or combine the two. In the Ad Server, line items carry start and end dates, delivery objectives, priorities and frequency caps. Reach analysis forecasts matching traffic before a campaign is booked. Creatives run as HTML5, image or VAST video layouts, and the HTTP API returns ads as HTML, JSON, XML or email markup. The Prebid Wrapper runs a unified auction beside Google Ad Manager, and external demand sources let other SSPs compete for unsold impressions. Site rulesets set floor prices, creative scanning blocks creatives that break a site's policy, and report templates produce scheduled HTML or CSV reports. The Self-Service channel gives advertisers a white-label buying portal, and iOS and Android SDKs carry ads into apps. The platform suits publishers that sell direct campaigns first, retailers building a retail media network, and platforms that want ad serving inside their own product. Advertisers and brands use the Marketplace as an alternative to a DSP, reaching publisher and retail media inventory with a short supply path. Political advertisers get a module of their own. Adnuntius sells the platform by quote, with fees agreed in an Order Form, and bills support and professional services by the hour. A publisher typically traffics direct deals in the Ad Server, then lets Google Ad Manager and Prebid bidders compete for what remains. Retail media teams run the same engine under their own brand and keep their advertiser relationships in house. Developers request ads through the API and render the JSON in a native layout, while email teams place ads in newsletters from the same line items. Data teams send ad server exports to Amazon S3, Google Cloud or Azure for their own analysis. Adnuntius fits a media owner that wants to hold both its ad stack and its buyer relationships.
