Luma is an event page, registration and ticketing platform for community hosts and small teams running recurring events, made by Luma Labs.
Luma is an event page, registration and ticketing platform for community hosts and small teams that put on events and message their guests. It keeps the event page, the guest list and every message to guests in one account. There is no separate page builder, ticketing tool or mailing list to stitch together. Luma Labs, Inc. builds and operates it as an independent company, and the product now lives at luma.com after moving from lu.ma. It is sold as one product with a free plan, Luma Plus and an Enterprise plan. Every event starts as a page with registration built in, grouped under a calendar that can be public and discoverable through Discover Events. Ticketing accepts credit cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay along with regional methods such as iDEAL, Konbini and PayNow. Ticket types, group purchasing and coupons are on every plan. Guest communication runs through blasts and automated reminders by email, SMS, push notification and WhatsApp. Registration can require approval or token gating, and a full event moves new registrations to a waitlist for the host to approve or decline. On the day, hosts check guests in through the Luma app, with a check-in manager role for helpers on Luma Plus. Once the event ends, Luma emails guests for feedback and reports the answers in Insights, next to the utm parameters saved on each registration. For online events, the Zoom integration tracks attendance, and a hybrid event carries its online link in the confirmation and reminder emails. Guest data syncs to HubSpot and Salesforce through native integrations and reaches other tools through Zapier and the API on Luma Plus. CSV import and export are on every plan, and recurring series come from cloning an event into a set of dates. Luma is built for community organizers, social hosts and teams that put on recurring events, from run clubs to launch parties and firework shows. Organizations that keep a public calendar of events fit as well, since the calendar itself is a page people can find on Luma. Luma focuses on the event page and the guest list rather than on conference operations such as badge printing, exhibitor management or seating charts. Larger organizations move to the Enterprise plan for an organization account, security restrictions, single sign-on and advanced integrations. Luma is bought per calendar rather than per seat, and the plan cards list every tier, the weekly send add-ons and the admin seat allowances.
